ARCHIVED - 27 municipalities across Murcia now booking vaccines for 35-39 age group

On Monday the Murcia regional health authority announced that it was opening online booking for first vaccinations for the 35-39 year-old age group in Lorca, Abanilla, Yecla, Cehegín, Mula and Fortuna.
On Tuesday further municipalities were added to the list: Murcia city (which includes the outlying districts of Sucina, Corvera, Gea y Truyols etc), Cartagena, La Unión, Lorquí, San Pedro, Puerto Lumbreras, Fuente Álamo, Beniel, Cieza, Santomera, Totana, Águilas, Caravaca de la Cruz, Molina de Segura, Torre Pacheco, Alcantarilla, Bullas, Calasparra, Alhama de Murcia, Moratalla and Aledo.
Appointments are being offered from Wednesday, June 23 onwards and it is anticipated that booking will be opened out to other municipalities for the same age bracket within the Region of Murcia as first vaccinations for the higher age groups are concluded.
This week the Murcian authorities expect to vaccinate around 130,000 people.
This week the region is expecting the delivery of 95,940 vaccines from Pfizer, 16,300 from AstraZeneca, 9,800 from Moderna and 4,200 from Janssen.
According to the latest data from the national government, the Region of Murcia has administered a total of 1,077,570 vaccinations to date.
