ARCHIVED - 33 people caught breaking Covid rules and camping illegally in Huelva
The illegal gathering took place in the protected natural area of Mazagón, in the province of Huelva
The Policía Nacional in Andalucía have started disciplinary actions against 33 people who were caught camping illegally in the protected coastal area of Mazagón, in the municipality of Moguer (Huelva).
The group had set up camp, without authorisation, in the La Fontanilla area and were caught breaking several different anti-Covid restrictions.
Officers arrived at the scene of the “illegal party” and found that the participants had also been illegally dumping rubbish and waste in the protected natural area.
A total of 33 people will now face disciplinary action for breaking Covid rules, as well as for camping illegally and disposing of waste in a protected area.
Several municipalities in Andalucía will face even stricter Covid restrictions from Friday morning (August 5).
