60 new homes to be built on Hacienda del Alamo

The Spanish Village area of Hacienda del Álamo will soon be the site of new construction
Local property agents on Hacienda del Álamo Golf Resort have revealed that at least 60 new apartments are going to be built on the resort, with villas to follow. In the beginning, building is due to start next to the Spanish Village car park, and while it is still in the very early stages planning is hoped for in September/October 2024.
Increased construction and investment in the resort is expected to bring in more money from potential buyers, and will equal more revenue in community fees for maintenance and improvements.On the other hand, some existing owners on the resort have expressed worries that the new apartments will block views of the Oasis for apartments that currently have them and doubts over whether unbridled growth is a good thing.
Construction and growth was hampered in Spain after the property bubble burst in 2008, but now many new investors are pumping a lot of money into Murcia’s resorts, with new leisure and sports facilities following hotels and residential projects.
