ARCHIVED - Aguilas art exhibition Ecodenuncia: until May 19
The art exhibition aims to show the dire consequences of leaving litter in the ocean
Since last weekend, the Casa de la Cultura in Águilas has been hosting the exhibition ‘Ecodenuncia’, which has been touring the Region of Murcia. ‘Ecodenuncia’ translates as eco-condemnation, and is meant as an environmental protest through the power of art.
The exhibition includes photographs by José Luis Alcaide and Oli Oliver, which aim to show the consequences that marine litter has on our seas.
Águilas Town Hall’s Councillor for Environmental Education, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, was in charge of inaugurating the exhibition, and there was also an illuminating conference on protecting marine habitats.
The exhibition, which is included in the Plumbum Project of the Hippocampus Association, is open to visitors until Thursday May 19, when it will move on to its next destination.
