ARCHIVED - American musician wows Aguilas jazz fans
The Águilas Autumn Jazz festival kicked off on Saturday November 19
The Autumn Jazz season in Águilas got off to a roaring start on Saturday November 19 with a stunning show by renowned American music artist Rebecca Kilgore.
Organised by the Association of Friends of Culture and the Águilas Casino in close collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Águilas City Council, jazz fans packed out the hall of mirrors at the Casino to enjoy the international star.
With more than fifty recordings under her belt, Ms Kilgore has collaborated with such jazz giants as Randy Porter, John Sheridan, Dave Frishberg, and John Pizzarelli, among many others. She captivated the audience with her elegant voice accompanied by musicians Enric Peidró, Richard Busiakewicz, Diego Barberá and Carles Pérez.
The next concert of the season will be held on Friday January 13, with the show ‘Jazz Memories’ by the Eva Romero Quartet.
