ARCHIVED - An exhibition of old engravings in Jumilla: May 5-29
All this month, visitors to the Museum of Ethnography and Science in Jumilla can see these fantastic works of art
Jumilla’s Councillor for Culture, Pilar Martínez, accompanied by the artist Carmen Marcos and the head of the town’s Culture Department, Andrés Martínez, were present at the inauguration of an exhibition which is running in the town from Thursday May 5 at 8pm in the Jerónimo Molina Ethnography and Natural Science museum in Jumilla. After the opening, the teacher of the IES Infanta Elena secondary school, Andrés Carlos López, gave a lecture entitled ‘The art of printmaking’.
The exhibition, which is running for almost the whole month of May, brings together a collection of ancient engravings from the private collections of Jumilla.
All the engravings are available to visit in the multi-purpose room of the Museum of Ethnography until Sunday May 29.
