ARCHIVED - Norwegian airline will connect Murcia, Alicante and Malaga with Oslo and Bergen in 2022
The new operation will link 9 Spanish airports with destinations in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland
Air Norwegian has announced on Friday, August 13, that it will be operating 40 routes between Spain and the Nordic countries as part of the summer 2022 campaign, including two connections between Corvera airport in Murcia and Oslo and Bergen.
Both flights from the Region will operate between June 18 and August 2 of next year, with three weekly connections on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The new operation will link nine Spanish airports with a range of destinations in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland, the airline reported. At the peak of the 2022 summer season, Norwegian will operate up to 426 weekly flights between Spain and the different Nordic countries.
The airports of Malaga and Alicante are at the top of this list, with ten routes each to cities such as Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Copenhagen, Aalborg, Stockholm, Helsinki and Gothenburg, among others.
Palma de Mallorca will operate seven routes, Barcelona El Prat, six, Gran Canaria, two (Oslo and Copenhagen) while Bilbao, Madrid and Ibiza will all fly to Oslo.
