ARCHIVED - British expat found dead in Camposol, Mazarron
Concerned family members in England asked a neighbour to check on the Mazarrón resident
A 68-year-old English man was found dead in his home on the Mazarrón urbanisation of Camposol at around 3pm on Tuesday afternoon, January 18.
The deceased was found after his family members in England raised the alarm, as they had not heard from him for several days. A local resident who then went to the property to check on his neighbour saw the man laying immobile on the floor but was unable to gain access to the house. The Region of Murcia emergency services were called at 2.59pm.
Police officers, firefighters and ambulance medics were dispatched to the scene, Camposol Sector D, and the fire brigade managed to open the door to the property at 3.33pm. Sadly, medical staff could do nothing for the victim and the 68-year-old was pronounced dead.
