Buses and trains, Torre Pacheco

Public Transport, Torre Pacheco

Buses and trains, Torre PachecoThere are mainline railway stations in both Torre Pacheco itself, as well as in the pedanía of Balsicas.
These are both stations on the main Madrid- Murcia-Cartagena rail line and there are regular daily services running from both stations into both Murcia and Cartagena.

Obtaining the timetables for the train services is not as easy as it should be, and even the tourist office in Torre Pacheco admits the difficulty in obtaining physical copies of the timetable in any fashion other than by going to the railway stations in question where hard copies can be picked up directly. It’s worth calling them as they may have an up to date timetable at the time of calling.

The tourist office can be contacted on:
Torre Pacheco Tourist office, Calle Cartagena 51, Torre Pacheco : 968 57 99 37

Navigating the Renfe webpage and successfully finding the timetable requires a degree in illogic, and is not advisable, so the best course of action is to collect the timetable from the station concerned.

Buses.
Bus services are trun by a number of private companies, each one running their own routes. Calling the tourist office for further information is the best option, as they are the most likely to be able to advise if there are services operating to your required destination.
The tourist office can be contacted on:

The Mar Menor Golf Resort is on the bus route for Torre Pacheco itself and is included on the Urban bus route. ( see below), however, La Torre is not, so hiring a car is a better option.
