Corvera: Fiestas are in honour of the Virgen del Rosario

Corvera Fiestas PatronalesSince the seventeenth century, when the church was first built, Corvera has celebrated the its Fiestas Patronales in honour of the Virgen del Rosario, which falls on 7th October. The celebrations follow the pattern of many local fiestas, and include the election of the local fiesta queen and her maids of honour, with sporting events, special days for children, ladies and gents, musical events and religious acts. In all, the Fiestas last for nearly 2 weeks.
