Council spraying Camposol public roads and pavements to reduce weed growth
Mazarrón Council is in the process of spraying the public roads and pavements to reduce weed growth
The small tractor vehicle spotted touring the Camposol development is part of the municipality-wide weed prevention project aimed at reducing the amount of unwanted vegetation, which not only looks unsightly but can also cause damage to roads and pavements if left untreated.
The vehicle is equipped with a tank and spray arms to enable spraying on the target areas around the Bahía de Mazarrón.
Ingeniería Urbana S.A., the company that controls street cleaning, refuse collection and more for Mazarrón Council has confirmed that the chemical compostion of the spray itself has full approval by the requisite authorities for use in public areas and is harmless to animals, a subject that is obviously of concern to pet owners.
