December 31 New Years Eve dinner at the Ramada Resort by Wyndham in Puerto de Mazarron
A sumptuous menu to see out the old year and bring in the new at the leading hotel in Mazarrón
It’s already the time of year to start thinking about how and where to celebrate Christmas and the New Year, and bookings are now being taken for what promises to be the most glamorous New Year’s Eve party in Puerto de Mazarrón.
Ramada Resort by Wyndham, the premier hotel in the Puerto de Mazarrón, is holding its special New Year’s Eve dinner and has published room rates for the night as well as the appetizing and enticing menu. The sumptuous feast begins with a welcome cocktail, punch and canapés and a starter of Iberian ham and cured cheese, before a selection of individual starters including a seafood salad with pineapple and trout roe pearls, foie sack with caramelized apple, goat cheese, berries and cream, and bouillabaisse with scarlet shrimp, cockles and garlic butter toast.
Delicious, and that’s before the first course: prepare yourself for a delightful monkfish and prawn skewer with cava sauce and potatoes, and then make the most of a digestive lemon sorbet with cava to help make room for the main course: Wellington veal tenderloin with vegetables and Pedro Ximenez sauce!
Dessert follows and drinks are included in the price, as are the traditional lucky grapes at midnight and a free goody bag.
After the chimes of midnight there is music in the bar until 3.00 in the morning for those revellers who wish to start 2023 off with a dance!
Not surprisingly, a menu of this calibre in the luxury surroundings of the Ramada Resort by Wyndham comes at a price: 150 euros per head, reduced to 130 euros for those staying the night in the hotel. Children's menus are available at half price.
Rooms for the night are priced at between 119 euros (for a standard double) and 204 euros (for the Super Delux Marahani), including breakfast. Family rooms are also available for 3 adults or 2 adults + 1 or 2 children. Without breakfast the prices range from 95 to 180 euros.
In the afternoon of New Year’s Day the hotel will be closing for the month of January, so all guests are required to check out by 13.00. Pre-payment is required for both room reservations and the New Year’s Eve dinner.
