ARCHIVED - Dryer causes house fire in Murcia city
Firefighters from Murcia were able to extinguish the flames
Firefighters were called to minor fire at a seventh-floor apartment in Murcia city this Monday October 18 and fortunately no one was hurt in the quickly extinguished blaze.
The fire took place at around 8pm on Monday at an apartment on Calle de la Olma, in the San Andrés neighbourhood of the capital city, and emergency services personnel were dispatched to the scene, including 12 firefighters from the municipal service, with three specialised vehicles, a Policía Local unit and an ambulance, which did not have to intervene.
The blaze was reportedly caused by the dryer in the flat which caught fire.
