Officers finally arrested the man in Castelleja de la Cuesta, in Sevilla, after a dangerous police chase
A 53-year-old has been arrested in Castelleja de la Cuesta, Sevilla, after stealing a fully loaded supermarket lorry and leading police on a dangerous car chase.
The man took the lorry – which had the key in the ignition and was loaded with cargo meant for a supermarket - on Wednesday (August 5) and proceeded to lead the police on a “film-like” chase, endangering several lives and causing extensive damage.
Officers from the Policía Nacional and the Policía Local in Castilleja de Guzmán intervened in the chase and Emergencias Sevilla posted footage of the intense police chase on Twitter.

The detainee is a ‘known delinquent’ in the area and several police officers were injured as a result of his actions.
