Four productions and four substitutes have been named for the annual Águilas theatre festival
The selection process has been completed for the annual “Paco Rabal” National Amateur Dramatics Festival which will be held in Águilas during November, with the four productions initially listed as finalists involving performers from Lleida, Madrid, Navarra and Sevilla.
The jury, consisting of various members from the world of theatre, named a total of eight productions (four finalists and four reserves), having sifted through as many as 108 entries. Those selected for the final are “Nebraska” (Compañía Agalet Teatro, Lleida), “Diablos, brujas y granujas” (Compañía La Luciérnaga, Madrid), “El matrimonio Palavrakis” (Compañía Puntido Teatro, Navarra) and “Anastasia: tributo musical” (Compañía La Barbarie Musical, Sevilla).

He appeared in around 200 films working with directors including Francesc Rovira-Beleta, Luis Buñuel, Carlos Saura, Pedro Almodóvar, William Friedkin, Michelangelo Antonioni, Claude Chabrol and Luchino Visconti, and also won international recognition, winning the Award for Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival for Los Santos Inocentes.
