ARCHIVED - Find out more about Torrevieja: weekly tours and activities for expats
Torrevieja's International Residents Department has launched a programme of tours and visits for foreigners living in the town
Expats living in Torrevieja are being given the opportunity to find out more about the Vega Baja city in Alicante province with the launch of "Weekly Activities for International Residents".
"Our foreign residents will have the chance to learn about various parts of the municipality, with visits to its new projects, schools, colleges, beaches, La Mata and much more," explained Councillor for International Residents, Gitte Lund Thomsen.
The initiative kicks off on Tuesday September 13 at 11am with a visit to the Tavi y Carmona Sports Centre, during which the Councillor for Sports, Diana Box, and the Councillor for International Residents will lead a tour of the facilities.
All of the tours will take place on Tuesdays at the same time and will be published weekly on Torrevieja International Residents Facebook page.
