Four concerts will be held in the Marina Baixa resort on the Costa Blanca between September 4 and December 18
Sant Jaume i Santa Anna Parish Church in Benidorm will once again host the International Organ Festival opening its doors to the public for a series of free concerts until the end of the year.
This is the ninth edition of the festival, which offers "residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy one of the best liturgical organs in the Valencian region and the only one of its kind with three keyboards in Alicante province", says Benidorm council's cultural department.
The recitals, performed by national and international artists, will take place on the following dates:
September 4, 9pm - Organist Javier Artigas will perform with oboists Pedro Cusac and Benidorm's own Antonio Gonzaga, who is also a solo oboist and teacher with Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra.
October 29, 8pm - Brice Montagnoux on the organ with clarinetist Eva Villegas.
Novermber 26, 8pm - Solo organist Alberto Mammarella.
December 18, 8pm - Organist Benantzi Bilbao accompanied by the soprano Pepi Lloret.
While the concerts are free, capacity is limited, so it is advisable to get to Sant Jaume i Santa Anna Parish Church early.
