Free guided tours of the historic city centre in Murcia every Saturday morning
An easy way to become acquainted with some of the main buildings and squares in the centre of Murcia
In response to great demand the Town Hall of Murcia and the local tourist office are offering free guided tours (in Spanish) of the old centre of the regional capital every Saturday morning until September 2024.
The route helps participants to understand the 1,200-year history of the seventh largest city in Spain (in terms of municipal population), including some of the best-known buildings and monuments and ending in the central squares of Plaza de Julián Romea and Plaza Santo Domingo.
Although the tours are free of charge prior registration is required online here, with a deadline of the Wednesday before the tour takes place. Alternatively, bookings can be made by telephone on 968 219099 or by email at turismodemurcia@aldabacongresos.com.
Booking limitations:
- Only 4 people per booking
- Maximum total group size 30
- A minimum of 6 people must be registered for the visit to go ahead.
