ARCHIVED - GNK Golf Tour 2021 to take place at Murcia golf resorts
The golfing tour will be hosted at different Costa Cálida golf courses in Murcia
Golfing fanatics in the Region of Murcia can enjoy this year’s GNK Golf Tour at three different resorts: La Torre Golf Resort, El Valle Golf Resort and Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort, all part of the GNK group.
The event is spread across three months and the first golfing day took place on October 23 at La Torre. The next part of the event is to be held at El Valle on November 6, followed by the final golfing day at Hacienda Riquelme on December 11.
All of the golf tournaments in the GNK tour are 18 holes and use the individual Stableford scoring system.
Participants
Anyone over the age of 18 and who has a valid RFEG golf license can take part in the tournaments and the number of participants varies at each venue.
Categories
There will be two distinct categories; up to 17.9 handicap and 18 handicap and over.
Handicap limit
The limit for men is 26.4 and 36 for women. Players who exceed the handicap limit can take part but will be limited to 26.4 handicap.
General Classification
The sum of all the tournament day’s scores will be taken into account. Players who start the competition in one category will finish the league in the same category.
Game
The time allowed per game will be decided and published by the Competition Committee, and any group who accumulates more time per hole than the established limits will be considered ‘out of position’.
Inscription and Green Fee
Inscription to the tournament can be done through Golfdirecto and players must provide their name and surname, license number, email and phone number. The sign-up period ends at 12pm two days before the event, or when all slots are filled. The green fee must be paid by bank transfer to the account indicated by the Committee.
Prices
Prices include the inscription fee and the green fee: 45 euros for the general public and 40 euros for residents and members.
Tee-off time
Each golf club will inform participants of the time with an email though Golfdirecto.

El Valle Golf Society meet twice a week
El Valle Golf Society
El Valle Golf Resort opened in 2007 and soon became one of the most prestigious and 
challenging golf courses in Murcia. It is the venue for numerous Murcian, Spanish and International golf competitions, and has a varied property offering, being popular with both tourists and residential tourists alike.
El Valle Golf Society meet on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 1.00pm.
Guests are welcome to play and pay the Green Fee at the Pro Shop and the society’s 5 euro entry fee.
The society have four annual golf competitions and an annual Charity Week in August to raise funds for local good causes.
