The workshops aim to provide answers to the many questions people in the Andalusian region have been asking about earthquakes in light of the recent increased seismic activity
What is an earthquake? Why do they happen? What should I do during an earthquake? These are just some of the questions many people in Granada have been asking themselves over recent weeks as the earth moved time and time again in the province. With this in mind, the Parque de las Ciencias (science park) has started offering a 25-minute workshop at 11.15 am on Saturdays and Sundays to clear up doubts. The workshop is included in the general entry price.
The park is a great place for anyone interested in science to visit, particularly those with children, and boasts a museum, planetarium and biodome among its attractions. Opening times are from 10 am to 6 pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays and from 10 am to 3 pm on Sundays and holidays. Tickets can be purchased and more information obtained at www.parqueciencias.com
