A basic Spanish language course has ended in Jumilla for Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in the municipality after fleeing the conflict in their homeland, with the awarding of diplomas to those taking part in the initiative.
The course was held at the Centro Roque Baños from June 7 to June 23, making Jumilla the first municipality in the Region of Murcia to make good on its offer to provide linguistic support to refugees from Ukraine. The initiative was made possible by the collaboration of the Asociación Proyecto Abraham, providing basic A1 level linguistic knowledge to the Ukrainian refugees who arrived in February of this year.
