Hacienda del Álamo Golf Resort is located just outside Fuente Álamo, a rural farming town in the centre of the south-west of the Region of Murcia.

The resort is just 20 minutes' drive from the Region of Murcia International Airport in Corvera.

Fuente Álamo is strategically located, with good motorway links to both the capital of the Region of Murcia and other important towns and cities including the port and cruise ship destination of Cartagena, Mazarrón, with over 30 kilometres of open beaches, the Mar Menor, Europe´s largest salt water lagoon and a mecca for watersports enthusiasts, and the nearby towns of Alhama de Murcia and Totana. Both of the latter are on the edge of the mountains of the Sierra Espuña natural park, an area popular with walkers and lovers of the great outdoors.

Hacienda del Álamo is just a couple of minutes' drive from Fuente Álamo, with supermarkets, plenty of shops, a weekly street market, library, a 24-hour health centre, dentists, hairdressers, banks, schools, restaurants and good sports facilities including an indoor swimming pool.

It is also in the centre of an area which is highly popular with expats as a holiday destination, a location for holiday properties and for residential living. It thus offers plenty of opportunities to interact with the expat community and join one of the many clubs, societies, sporting clubs or voluntary associations in the area.
