ARCHIVED - Los Alcazares and British Consul discuss implications of Brexit
The series of meetings held in the Murcia municipality aims to strengthen relationships
The Mayor of Los Alcázares and the Councillor for International Residents held a series of meetings on Thursday October 21 with the Consul and Vice Consul of Great Britain to strengthen the relationship between the Murcia town and UK citizens residing there.
The order of the day focused on Brexit and the impact Britain’s exit from the EU has had on people living in Los Alcázares. The consuls took the opportunity to meet with several British residents during their stay to discuss how Brexit has impacted the municipality.
The hope is that the meetings will facilitate relations between both administrations going forward and reduce the amount of red tape for UK residents.
