A busy weekend at the Águilas auditorium, fiestas in Los Arejos and plenty more on offer alongside the beaches!
As usual there are various activities and events over the weekend in the municipality of Águilas and the seafront is likely to be very busy as the weather continues to improve, with daytime temperatures expected to reach the high 20s!
Friday May 13
19.00, 21.00 and 23.00: “Murga los ciegos, ciegos perdíos”. Three performances of this post-Carnival show at the Auditorio Infanta Elena. Tickets 5 euros. Click here for further details.
20.00: Presentation of the book "Personajes Ilustres del callejero de Lorca" at the Casa de la Cultura Francisco Rabal.
The annual fiestas in the village of Los Arejos with music from DJ Fabi Sánchez starting at 22.00.
Saturday May 14
20.30: Los Cuerpos Celestes, a musical drama at the Auditorio Infanta Elena. Click here for further details.
The fiestas in Los Arejos continue with the following activities:
16.00: 5-a-side football
19.00: Holy Mass in honour of the patron saint, San Isidro.
22.30: A tribute act pay homage to the group Estopa
Midnight: Sergio Contreras live in concert.

The fiestas in Los Arejos conclude with the following activities:
11.00 to 14.00: free bouncy castles for the youngsters
14.30: Giant paella to be shared by all those present, with platefuls priced at just 3€.

19.30 and 21.30: “El regreso de las Esturreás. Volvemos a conquistarte 7.0” at the Auditorio Infanta Elena. Tickets 6 euros, click for details.
Others
From May 11 to 15 Spanish ILCA7 class sailing championship at the Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel, on May 14 and 15 coinciding with the regional ILCA4 and ILCA6 competitions.
The exhibition “El hierro y la voz” by sculptor Joseba Gotzon continues until May 13 at the Auditorio Infanta Elena, open 18.00 to 21.00.
Mini Chef Junior courses at Mi Vieja Habana in the Plaza de Abastos, youngsters learn how to make cakes, biscuits, bread and loads more (information on 600 851592).
Children’s funfair in the Plaza Antonio Cortijos, open on Saturday from 19.30 until late and on Sunday from 11.30 to 14.30 and 17.30 until late.
