ARCHIVED - May 21 and 22 Open doors at Aguilas castle and museums for International Museums Day
Two free dramatized tours are among the attractions this weekend in Águilas
The annual celebration of International Museums Day has become a more and more important event throughout the Region of Murcia in recent years, and for the 2022 edition the castle and museums of Águilas are open to visitors free of charge on both May 21 and May 22.
All of the attractions concerned will be welcoming visitors during their normal opening hours. These are as follows:
Castillo de San Juan: 10.00-14.00 and 18.00-21.00.
Municipal Archaeological Museum: Saturday: 10.30-14.00 and 17.00-20.00, Sunday 10.30-14.00.
The CIMAR museum of the sea and aquarium: 10.00-13.00 and 17.00-19.00.
Embarcadero del Hornillo: Saturday 11.00-14.00 and 16.00-18.00, Sunday 11.00-14.00.
The Molino de Sagrera windmill: 11:00-14:00.
The Roman baths (Termas): Saturday 12.30 to 13.30.
Águilas Carnival Museum: Saturday 10.30-13.30.
Football museum: Saturday 17.00-20.00, Sunday12.00-14.00
In addition, on Saturday May 21 there are 1-hour dramatized tours beginning at 18.30 and 20.00, starting at the Archaeological Museum and going on to the Roman thermal baths and the new Carnival Museum. Bookings should be made at the Archaeological Musuem.
