Murcia weather alert for rain, hail and storms this Wednesday

The Region of Murcia is under another weather alert from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) this Wednesday, May 14, as very cloudy skies, with locally heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast, along with more hail.

Aemet has decreed a yellow warning for rain and thunderstorms from 12 midday in the Northwest and the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Águilas areas, lasting until midnight. In these areas, the forecast is for up to 20 litres of rainfall per square metre per hour and possible hailstorms.

While the centre, northeast and southeast of Murcia will not be under a weather alert, rain is still forecast in these areas.

Temperatures will remain pretty much at the same level today, though, and it will not be very windy, but the lack of sunshine will make it feel a bit cooler.
