ARCHIVED - Murcia weather update July 27 and 28: Clear skies and high temperatures on the way
Following an orange weather warning for storms, the Region of Murcia is set to return to temperatures more typical of July
Following extreme weather warnings at the beginning of the week for storms and heavy rain, the skies throughout the Region of Murcia have cleared to make way for more blistering temperatures in the coming days.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) is once again forecasting temperatures in the 30s for the next couple of days, with lightly cloudy skies and mists in the Region early in the morning. These will clear as the days go on to make way for rising temperatures along inland Murcia with the coastal temperatures remaining largely unchanged.
Maximum temperatures expected on July 27 and 28:
Caravaca de la Cruz: 32 on Tuesday; 34 on Wednesday
Cartagena: 30 on Tuesday; 30 on Wednesday
Lorca: 31 on Tuesday; 34 on Wednesday
Murcia: 34 on Tuesday; 33 on Wednesday
Yecla: 32 on Tuesday; 33 on Wednesday
