A 39-kilometre ride in the mountains of Ricote and Blanca

The Town Hall of Blanca is holding its first ever organized mountain bike ride on 23rd November in the countryside around the town and the Sierra de Ricote.

The event begins at 9.30 and the 39-kilometre route takes riders along paths, streams and tracks through the Ricote and Blanca mountains to El Darrax and the Rambla Benito. Around 100 riders are expected to take part, and the event ends with a snack and gifts for participants.

The first Marcha a Mountain Bike in Blanca begins and ends at the Museo y Centro de Interpretación de la Luz y el Agua in the centre of town next to the River Segura, where the Tourist Office is also located, and registration is open at www.finishsport.es

Individual registration for the event is open until 19th  November and costs 18€, with reduced rates for group registrations from mountain bike clubs. Clubs registering more than 20 people can register for only 10 euros, and for 13 to 19 people the price is 12 euros, while for 5 to 12 people it’s 15 euros.
