This free 90-minute tour explores the long history of Puerto de Mazarrón and starts at 10.00: those signing up will be told the exact starting point on registration.
Among the sights along the route are the Phoenician Boats interpretation centre and the remains of a Roman house on Calle Era, from where the route continues up to the lighthouse and ends at the monument to the Sagrado Corazón, which looks out over the bay.
Those taking part should use their own vehicles and make sure they are wearing sturdy footwear. A cap and drinking water are also advised.
Registration is online here and here.
