ARCHIVED - Over 18s in Murcia can now book Covid booster jabs
Third doses have been made available to the entire adult population in the Region of Murcia
From 3pm on Wednesday January 19, everyone over the age of 18 in Murcia will be able to book an appointment for their third Covid vaccine.
However, those who are aged 50 and older don’t require an appointment and can simply turn up at a vaccination centre to receive their top-up jab. Since this Monday, children between 5 and 11 years old have also been able get their first vaccines without an appointment.
Vaccine appointments for both first and third doses can be made online using the MurciaSalud website, which helps to reduce pressure on health centres.
The regional president in Murcia has called upon the entire population to get their vaccines, assuring that vaccines are “the tool to get out of this situation”.
