Passenger on Ryanair flight from UK to Tenerife arrested for peeing in the aisle
The incident happened on a flight from the United Kingdom to Tenerife
Yet another incident has occurred on a Ryanair plane to Spain, forcing the crew members to involve the authorities. The latest in the series of mishaps for the airline happened on a flight from the United Kingdom to Tenerife in the Canary Islands on Monday November 4 when several passengers were behaving badly, one of them even going so far as to begin urinating in the aisle mid-flight.
The incident happened at 6.29am on flight F3152 from the East Midlands to Tenerife South airport. The flight was due to last for four and a half hours.
Beyond the urine incident, it has still not been made clear what had specifically happened in regards to the bad behaviour of the passengers at that time of the morning.
Ryanair had only confirmed that "a small group of passengers behaved in a disruptive manner on board."
It is believed that the behaviour and subsequent disruption of the passengers led the pilot to speed up the landing and that the airport managers provided him with a report that the events were serious.
As a result of the incident, the crew decided to call the local police in advance, who as soon as the plane landed on the Canary Island, at around 11am, took charge of the situation and guarded the troublesome passengers.
The troublemaker who had urinated in the aisle was arrested, although no further details have been released about what happened to him thereafter.
