ARCHIVED - Pollution-absorbing mural art in Torre Pacheco, Murcia
The 2021 edition of Art-Até is underway in Torre Pachecho, bringing mural art to the Dolores de Pacheco, Balsicas, Torre Pacheco and Roldán areas that are not just pleasant to the eye but also care for the environment as they absorb pollution too.
The town’s Culture councillor has explained that the paint used by the artists is eco-sustainable, thus creating works of art that purify the air and absorb more than 50 kilos of carbon dioxide per year.
The mural painting section of Art-Até has once again been directed and carried out by Taruga Producciones, a national platform of artists which currently has more than 200 muralists, including 17 from Murcia.
