Public library in La Manga

The La Manga del Mar Menor lending library 

The public library of La Manga del Mar Menor is located in a blue and white four-floor building on the eastern side of the main dual carriageway at approximately kilometre 2.1, and is open in the winter every day from 10.00 to 13.00 and 16.00 to 19.00, except on Mondays (closed in the afternoon) and Thursdays (closed all day).

The summer timetable is more complete, but opening times vary from year to year.

The same building is also in use as a pensioners’ centre and was formerly a medical surgery, but this latter service is now offered at a different location close to kilometre 5.

As well as a variety of multilingual reading material, most of it aimed at the holidaymakers and residential tourists who comprise the majority of the reading public in La Manga, internet access is also provided.
