ARCHIVED - Self-employed professionals in Murcia can now apply for economic help
Murcia residents who are eligible for the subsidies have 15 days to submit an application
The new edition of the Self-employed Subsidy Plan 2021 is now open in the Region of Murcia, with around 4 million euros available, which will be divided into subsidies of 3,000 euros for self-employed residents in the Region.
This second call for self-employed workers to register for economic help was announced in the Official Bulletin on September 14, and the application process is open for 15 days starting Wednesday September 15.
The funds are destined for self-employed residents in Murcia who have lost over 20% of their income due to the coronavirus pandemic. The grants are open to all business activities (CNAE), except those related to financial and insurance activities, public administration and defence, household activities and activities carried out by extraterritorial organisations.
Self-employed workers who registered economic losses in 2019 can also submit an application, as long as they recorded profits in 2018, and professionals who began working in 2019 at a loss can also apply for a grant.
Any self-employed expat living in the Region who is eligible for the subsidies is advised to get in contact with their assessor or consultant and submit their application as soon as possible as the limited funds are expected to be allocated quickly and will soon be exhausted.
