The visit then continues to the ARQUA, the subaquatic archaeology museum, to see the new exhibition showing the treasure recovered from the Nuestra Sra de la Mercedes and treasure salvage company, Odyssey which has recently been put on display for the first time.

Cartagena was a major Roman Port and a substantial city, with a number of impressive buildings including a Roman Theatre, Public Forum, important religious buildings and bath-houses. This tour is an interesting introduction to the Roman world and visits some of the most important Roman elements of Cartagena including the Roman Forum District of the city, where archaeologists are still unearthing new finds in the current excavations, as well as taking visitors into the Parque Molinete, an archaeological park, one of the original five hills of Cartagena, to see the scale of the former Roman city.
