ARCHIVED - Spanish town wakes up to find a UFO that crash landed in the street
The appearance of a crashed flying saucer has astonished locals in the town of Burriana
The streets of the town of Burriana in the Valencian Community woke up on Thursday morning to a surprise: a UFO crashed in the middle of the street, creating a large hole.
The locals who found the strange flying saucer were astonished, but it wasn’t long before the true nature behind the alien craft, which has been cordoned off by local police, was revealed.

The crashed craft is actually an artistic installation by artist Juan Poré for the upcoming celebration of the Cruces de Mayo (Crosses of May) festival.
The fake flying saucer has been made to look as if it crash landed on Calle María Teresa de Calcuta, a road parallel to Avenida Cardenal Vicente Enrique Tarancón.
To simulate the impact, 2,000kg of earth were placed around the UFO to replicate the crash site. The saucer is made of cork and an old motorbike has also been placed next to it to make it look more real.
