ARCHIVED - To June 12, Cuando Ya No Hay Ruido, exhibition by Manuel Frutos Llamazares in the Palacio Almudi in Murcia
130 works are presented in a vast retrospective at the historic venue in the centre of Murcia
All three exhibition spaces at the historic venue of the Palacio Almudí in the centre of the city of Murcia are occupied until the middle of June by a collection of 130 works by Manuel Frutos Llamazares, many of which have never before been exhibited in public.
The exhibits have been brought together by Enrique Nieto and David Frutos, the artist’s son, with the intention of paying tribute to a man who never stopped painting until his dying day in 2010. He worked from his base in Torre Pacheco and many of the works hanging in the Almudí were rescued from his studio there, although he lived in many places during his life including León, Gran Canaria and Barcelona.
The art gallery at the Palacio Almudí is open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 11.00 to 14.00 and 18.00 to 21.00, and on Sundays from 11.00 to 14.00 only.
