ARCHIVED - Torre Pacheco campaign vaccinates nearly three thousand in the 20 to 29 age group
Some 2,706 people in the younger age range received their first dose of Pfizer in Torre Pacheco
On Wednesday, July 28, some 2,706 people aged between 20 and 29 in the municipality of Torre Pacheco received their first dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine at the El Palacio de Ferias y Exposiciones de la Región de Murcia centre (IFEPA). In order to offer the jab to the remainder of this group, the Ministry of Health will shortly add the next date for the municipality to the online-appointment system through the MurciaSalud website and mobile app.
A vaccination day has also been scheduled for August 4 to complete the vaccinations of 30 to 39-year-olds, who received their first jab on July 16 at IFEPA.
Overall, significant strides have been made throughout the country to vaccinate those aged between 20 and 29, the group with the highest infection rate. To date, 15.5 per cent have been fully vaccinated and 41.7 per cent have had at least one dose.
