The alleged perpetrators, a man and a woman, have been arrested thanks to a tip-off from a local resident

Police in Mazarrón arrested two people this weekend, a man and a woman, when they were caught in the act of breaking into a private home in Puerto de Mazarrón.

They were found with a crowbar and other tools for breaking and entering, which were all seized as evidence. The pair of burglars are now awaiting judicial disposition in Mazarrón.

The Policía Local released an announcement thanking the public for their “decisive” collaboration as “a local resident informed the officers of the suspicious attitude of the persons arrested as they were loitering around the area”.
