ARCHIVED - Two petrol stations in Murcia robbed at knifepoint on the same day
A petrol station on Carretera El Palmar and another in El Infante Juan Manuel were robbed within hours of each other
On Sunday (June 20), two robberies in different petrol stations in Murcia took place just seven hours apart, the suspect described as "a thin individual who was carrying a knife".
The first petrol station, located on Carretera El Palmar, was robbed on Sunday morning by a man who threatened employees with a knife and managed to steal cash from the till.
Another petrol station, located five kilometres away in the El Infante Juan Manuel neighbourhood, was robbed in a similar manner just seven hours later, the culprit in this case also threatened the workers with a knife.
Descriptions of the suspect and the way in which both robberies were carried out point to the culprit being the same person in both cases. However, as of yet, no one has been detained in connection to the robberies.
