A replica of a 17th century Spanish galleon is currently moored in the port of Cartagena and can be visited by members of the public until Sunday 16th May as it continues its tour of the Mediterranean.
Measuring 55 metres in length, the Andalucía is made from iroko and pine wood and its seven sails have a total area of over 1,000 square metres. A visit offers the chance to learn more about these iconic and historic vessels as well as the conditions endured by those who sailed on them, speaking to members of the current crew.
The Andalucía can be visited from 10.00 to 20.30, with admission priced at 4 euros for children aged 10 and under, 7 euros for over-10s and adults and 18 euros for family groups of two adults and up to three children. Under-5s enter free of charge. Book your visiting slot here.
Visitor numbers are limited by Covid protocols and facemasks should be worn at all times. Disinfectant gel dispensers can be found on board.
