An exhibition of works by Cartagena artist Txema Loriaga can be visited free of charge at the Palacio Consistorial until May 30, featuring portraits of famous women such as Marisol, Concha Velasco, Audrey Hepburn, Sigourney Weaver, Sharon Tate, Nawja Nimri and Carmen Sevilla.
Each portrait is created with just few defining features in bright colours by the local artist (real name José María Sola) using a graffiti-style technique to highlight the subject’s beauty.
The exhibition is open to the public from Tuesday to Friday between 10.00 and 13.30 and from 17.00 to 19.00, on Saturdays from 10.00 to 13.30 and 17.00 to 20.00 and on Sundays from 10.00 to 13.30 only.
