Visitors to Cieza for the floracion peach blossoms double from last year
Twice as many people came to see the beautiful flower blossoms in the Murcia town than in 2022

More than 40,000 people visited Cieza this March to see the ‘floración’, the annual blossoming of the peach, apricot and almond trees.
This is twice the number of visitors that the town received in the same period of 2022, according to the Cieza Town Council, based on data provided by the municipality’s mobile phone masts.
More than half of those tourists going to see the floración in Cieza were from overseas, with 49% coming from Spain.
The two countries that brought the most tourists were France and Germany with 6,751 and 4,671 visitors respectively.
Work is underway on a new Vía Verde greenway cycling and hiking route along the floración site, and it is expected to be completed by this summer.
