ARCHIVED - Yellow weather warnings for heat issued for Andalusia from 2pm: July 30
Temperatures are expected to reach 39 degrees in Almería, Córdoba, Granada, Jaén and Málaga
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued yellow weather warnings for extreme heat in several Andalucía provinces.
The forecast predicts temperatures of up to 39ºC in the provinces of Almería, Córdoba, Granada, Jaén and Málaga, and the warnings are in effect from 2pm until 9pm on July 30.
The areas affected are Valle del Almanzora and Los Vélez, in Almería; La Campiña, in Córdoba; Genil, Guadix and Baza, in Granada; Antequera, in Málaga; and the Guadalquivir valley, in Jaén.
