Águilas Plaza shopping centre
Chain stores and a large supermarket at the Águilas out-of-town shopping mall
The Águilas Plaza shopping mall is located on the eastern outskirts of the town of Águilas, next to the ring road and the residential area of El Hornillo (see map).
Ample parking (1,500 spaces) is provided for shoppers, who as well as visiting the stores inside can also avail themselves of the Multicines El Hornillo eight-screen cinema complex, where films in original language version are shown every Tuesday. A visit to the nearby Rincón de Hornillo is also recommended, as is the CIMAR maritime museum and aquarium.
Among the decorative features in the mall is a bust of Paco Rabal, the Águilas-born actor after whom the town’s Centro de Cultura is named.
Normal opening hours at Águilas Plaza are from 10.00 to 22.00, with the restaurant area opening from 10.00 to 3.00 on Friday on Saturday and 10.00 to 1.00 for the rest of the week.
