Almeria airport will have a new flight to the UK
It has not yet been revealed when the new flight connection will begin
Almería Airport in Andalucía is to have a new flight connection to the United Kingdom in the near future, with the flight path Almería-Bristol being added soon.
This was announced this week by the Provincial Council of Almería at the 44th edition of the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, where meetings with tour operators, airlines and travel agencies have resulted in the promotion of this new flight path, which promises to bring thousands of new tourists to this corner of southeast Spain from the UK.
Almería already has weekly flights to London Gatwick. As yet, it has not been announced when the Almería-Bristol flights will start, how often they will fly, nor whether they will be available all year round or only for the summer high season.
Bristol Airport currently has flight connections to Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Girona, Ibiza, Madrid, Majorca, Málaga, Menorca, Murcia, Reus and Valencia.
The province of Almería has the highest average stay for British tourists, with 8.3 days compared to 7.2 days on average for the region of Andalucía.
