Rain and cooling temperatures sweep through Andalucía as autumn settles in this week. We kick off with some hefty showers and thunderstorms, especially on the Atlantic side, while clearer and brighter spells develop later in the week. Temperatures are generally falling, especially in western areas, though some places could see a little variation in maximums.

Parts of the coast enjoys steadier weather and the odd spell of sunshine.

In the east, including Málaga and Granada, cloud thickens by the afternoon, bringing some light or moderate rain later on. Northerly winds freshen, especially along the coastline, and it’s a cold start for many away from the sea. Maximum temperatures are set to fall with the lowest values often coming in the afternoon.
