A bit of cloud, some rain and gentle winds mixing it up across Andalucía
As we head through mid-October, expect a classic autumn weekend in Andalucía. There’ll be plenty of patchy cloud, a few showers here and there, especially along the Mediterranean coast and mountains, and the odd bit of thunder too. Temperatures will mostly hang around the same, a little cooler inland, while the winds will keep things feeling fresh, especially by the Strait and eastern coastline.Thursday October 16

Some of these showers could bring bursts of thunder in the afternoon. Inland spots like Córdoba might feel a bit cooler, while coastal towns stay steady. Winds blow from the east, moderate along the coast and Cádiz, lighter elsewhere, with some stronger southerly spells. The Levante wind kicks in moderate to strong by the Strait of Gibraltar.

The mountains near Granada and Jaén may see heavier and more frequent rain and thunderstorms by afternoon. Temperatures dip a little overnight but daytime highs are steady or drop slightly in the east. Easterly winds pick up near the Strait, while the rest of the region gets lighter, more changeable breezes.

Cloud builds through the day with mid to high clouds filling the sky all over. A little drizzle or light rain could fall early along the coast and around Tarifa. Showers and possibly thunder return to the eastern mountains by afternoon. Temperatures barely change, though Seville nudges up to a warm 31 degrees. Winds stay easterly, moderate with gusty pulses near Almería and the Strait, softer further inland.

Andalucía weather forecast, Sunday October 19Cloudy intervals continue with a scattering of light showers first thing on the Mediterranean coast and late in the day along the Atlantic near Huelva. Mornings get a bit warmer in the west, while evening highs dip slightly out that way. Easterly winds hold steady along the coast and in Málaga. Elsewhere, the wind swings southerly and freshens a bit late in the west.
All in all, it’s a weekend of classic autumn weather in Andalucía: nothing too wild, just some cloudy days, a splash of rain now and then, and breezes that keep the air feeling lively.
