AndalucÃa weekly weather forecast March 23-26: Sunshine, light clouds and strengthening easterly winds
Warmer, brighter days with a fresh Levante breeze on the coasts
After a mixed few days, the weather across Andalucía is now settling into a much calmer and sunnier pattern. Skies will often be clear or just lightly cloudy, and daytime temperatures will climb into the low and even mid 20s °C, especially inland. The main thing you will notice is the easterly wind picking up again along the Mediterranean and around the Strait, where it will feel fresher at times.Monday March 23
Andalucía weather forecast, Monday March 23Monday starts off fairly quiet with partly cloudy or clear skies and some early mist and fog patches, mainly in low-lying spots and valleys. Cloud builds a little over the hills later, where a passing shower cannot be ruled out, but most places stay dry. Minimum temperatures dip a touch in the Guadalquivir Valley, but daytime values rise, with Seville heading for around 25 °C. Winds are light and variable inland, becoming moderate easterly along the Mediterranean coast during the afternoon, while the Strait area near Tarifa sees a moderate easterly strengthening to quite a strong blow by nightfall.
Tuesday March 24
Andalucía weather forecast, Tuesday March 24Tuesday is another mostly fine day, with plenty of sunshine away from the Mediterranean strip. Along parts of the coast and around the Strait it will be cloudier with a small chance of some light rain in the morning before brightening up again. Nights are a little milder and daytime temperatures ease back slightly in central areas, though most of the region still sits around or above 20 °C. Easterly winds are light to moderate inland and moderate along the Mediterranean shore, while in Cádiz province they become moderate to strong at times with some very gusty spells and local coastal warnings in force.
Wednesday March 25
Andalucía weather forecast, Wednesday March 25On Wednesday, skies are partly cloudy with bands of mid and high cloud drifting over, while low cloud may linger for a time along the western Mediterranean coast and near Málaga and the Strait. Any cloud gradually thins and breaks, leaving many places brighter later on. Maximum temperatures rise again, and most towns will be in the low to mid 20s °C, including Córdoba and Jaén, with little change in the overnight values. Moderate easterlies continue along the Mediterranean and in Cádiz, while elsewhere winds are light and variable and tend to ease as the day wears on.
Thursday March 26
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday March 26Thursday looks like the pick of the week for many, with predominantly clear blue skies and just a few patches of low cloud around the Strait early on and some cloud edging into the far east near Almería later. Temperatures rise further, with much of Andalucía in the mid 20s °C, around 26 °C in Huelva and close to 27 °C in Seville, feeling distinctly warm in the sunshine for late March. Winds are generally light and variable, tending to an easterly direction, with a fresher feel on exposed coastal stretches.
This brighter, warmer pattern is expected to stick around into the following days, giving Andalucía a run of pleasant, springlike weather with plenty of sunshine.
