Andalusia weekly weather forecast February 10-16: Wind and rain midweek, but mostly dry
Temperatures are on the up in southern Spain, despite downpours in the middle of the week
Andalucía weather forecast, Tuesday February 11
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts the weather in Andalucía this week to be mainly calm, sunny and bright, with temperatures noticeably warmer than last week, though a thunderstorm will bring rain and strong winds on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Before that, Monday February 10 will be mostly bright, if a bit cloudy, especially in Huelva and along the coast of Málaga. Inland Málaga province, around Antequera, will also have foggy conditions for much of the day.

On Tuesday 11, the rain will begin to creep in from the west, slowly covering Huelva, Seville, Córdoba and Cádiz by the end of the day, with enormous lightning storms predicted for the night and strong windspeeds of up to 30kmh in some inland areas.

Over the course of the day on Wednesday 12, the rain will shift eastwards, leaving the west to dry out a bit and instead giving Málaga, Granada, Jaén and Almería a sprinkling. It will weaken in strength as it goes along, but will bring some strong wind with it to the coast of Granada and Almería, up to 30kmh.

By the time we wake up on Thursday 13, it will be sunny, clear and calm again, conditions which are forecast to continue into the weekend as temperatures begin to rise – both at night and during the day – so it should be a lovely weekend in southern Spain, though there will be scattered showers in parts on both Saturday 15 and Sunday 16.
